This is easily one of the best military thrillers I’ve read in years. D.C. Gilbert doesn’t just write combat, he writes the soul behind it. JD Cordell is the kind of protagonist you root for from start to finish. The stakes are high, the mission is intense, and the villains feel all too real.
JD Cordell, retired US Navy SEAL, is a man often misunderstood. It’s easy to do; after all, he’s a man who lives by a very strict code of conduct. Regardless of the law. He seeks justice at all times and at all costs, especially for those he considers unable to fight for themselves. Cordell’s complex character is set to wow action fans again with his exploits in Reciprocity.
D.C. Gilbert's Reciprocity delivers a pulse-pounding thriller that thrusts readers into the unforgiving world of human trafficking, where violence lurks behind every corner, and justice is a race against time. When two young women fleeing their pasts in Vietnam are abducted before reaching the safety of American soil, retired Navy SEAL JD Cordell answers the call for a rescue mission that leads straight into Manila's treacherous Tondo district.
Reciprocity is an international military action thriller by D.C. Gilbert. It’s the 3rd book in the JD Cordell Action series and this book follows JD Cordell and his network of allies as they battle global corruption, human trafficking, and political rot across Southeast Asia and the United States. The story weaves together underground fight scenes in Manila, mafia-run rackets in Vietnam, and noble efforts to save exploited women and children. With complex characters like the haunted fighter Bill Taylor and the resilient Hana, the novel blends gritty realism with moral conviction. It’s a tale of justice served not through the courts but through raw courage, loyalty, and tactical precision.
